Default Trade for Roddy

Currently 4-2, dealing with a 1-5 team to get Roddy. Good friend of mine, he needs serious help at WR, outside Roddy his next 2 WRs are Stevie Johnson and DHB.... very weak in a 12 teamer with 3 starting WR's. Here's the offer, about 100% sure I'm taking it, just wanted a little feedback:

PPR, 10 point bonus at 100 yards rec/rush

I get: Roddy White

I Give: Decker, Hartline & a linebacker

Leaves my starting roster:

QB - Brees
WR - Cruz
WR - Roddy
WR - Marshall
RB - McCoy
RB - Forte
TE - Pettigrew
Flex - McFadden
K - Gould
DEF - Baltimore
D - D. Jackson
D - Pozlusny
D - Wheeler
D - Washington

BN - Rivers
BN - Britt
BN - Bess

wow great team. Not absolutely sure how much more value Roddy will have than Decker though. Peyton looks like his old self and Denver has an easier schedule than Atlanta going forward. Could you maybe move Forte+Hartline+Linebacker for a top 5 rb instead? If you could get someone like Rice by adding Decker I would do that as well and throw Britt into the lineup.

Don't know how valuable LB is, but that's terrible trade for your friend.

Roddy top 5-10 WR for maybe a top 25 WR in Decker and a scrub in Hartline. If you can get it done go ahead, but it explains why the guy is 1-5.

You should take the time to fully read what he posted.

This is his team AFTER the trade. He's GETTING Roddy for Decker/Hartline/LB.

This is a great trade for you. Definitely do this if he'll accept it. Roddy is a way better option than Decker.

I still dont agree that Roddy will be sooo much better than Decker though. He has a pretty good WR in Britt on his bench and should trade from his position of strength imo.

Ditto. I may have written statement awkwardly, but I agree Roddy side wins. Decker still isn't proven to me.

well, Denver has a MUCH nicer schedule for WRs going forward than Atlanta, but I agree that Roddy is better....just not by much. I'm just thinking that this depth can be used to get a top 5 RB instead of a slight WR upgrade.

I dont disagree with upgrading RB, but who would you trade then McCoy, Forte or McFadden?

McCoy most talented but philly a mess.
Forte finally healthy but gets TD vultures.
McFadden struggling but Oak has best RB schedule.

I would upgrade Pettigrew at TE. Maybe get an injured Graham, or Hernandez. H.Millar putting up top 5 TE stats.

if he won this weekend and is now 5-2 I would start building my play off team. Trading for someone like Graham if he's owned by someone in desperation mode could be pretty sweet then. I would easily give Decker+Hartline+Pettigrew for Graham, plug Britt into my lineup and use one of the open spots on another TE until Graham returns.
