I do have 2 starting tenders though (or at worst (knock wood) 1 starter in rinne and a 1a/1b guy in Lindback), and the chief and latest beneficiary of Ken Hitchcock's system Elliott, who can hopefully even come 90% close to the peripherals he put up last year. All of which means I could axe one of my backups to make room for Schwarz since it is unlikely they will see time in my starting lineup. I have long held a hunch about Khudobin and he's finally got an opportunity this year so he stays, primarily to avoid me kicking myself in the groin when he late-blossoms.

That means its Schwarz or Greiss. Neither one really do it for me for whatever reason (mostly, Schwarz's size and Greiss' blandness) but if Schwarz is all that and a bag of chips and Greiss is destined for backupsville, the choice is easy. But if people see starter material in TG and/or see Schwarz as the chief and latest victim of Ken Hitchcock's system, it gets more difficult. Who would you keep?
Wouldn't trade Schwartz for any of those in your format, or in pretty much any other either to be honest.

Greiss isn't the goalie of the future for San José anyway. Alex Stalock is.

Greiss is a solid goalie and *could* be a #1 goalie somewhere at some point but like I've stated so many times, the goalie market is way too flooded. Greiss is not a golden boy by any means and is more "one of those guys". Basically it's a situation where you put the 50 names at his level of long-term value in a hat and pick 20 names, that is who will be fantasy relevant and the rest will unfortunately fizzle out. Too much of a crap shoot. Nothing wrong with owning some of these goalies, but their limited value has to be kept in perspective.

Schwartz for sure!

I do like Greiss, but Schwartz is the clear choice IMO.
