SORRY GOTTA POST THIS ONE AGAIN!

I just traded my D Thomas+FJax+Torrey Smith for Foster+Tate, and picked up a few players since my last post.

Also just picked up Dwyer today after the Mendenhall/Redman injuries. Because McCoy has his BYE I am starting FJax and Alex Green as my rb's this week, and the plan is to use Dwyer in the flex instead of Hill/Sanders.

New squad with 1 open spot from monday. Normal starters later highlighted:

QB: Rivers, Freeman
RB: Foster, McCoy, A Green, Tanner, Tate, Dwyer
WR: AJ Green, Nicks, S Hill, Sanders
TE: Pitta

Because of a 2 day trade reject time, this trade wont go through until monday, but the guy who picked up Vincent Brown released him again earlier today. I want to pick him up, but I'm not sure who to drop?

Tanner? Hill? Sanders? Do I keep Tate as a handcuff going forward?

Mr. Price, I need 2 WRs... I'm starting AJ Green vs. Pit:

Britt vs. Buf
James Jones vs. StL.
M.Williams vs. N.O.

I'm thinking Britt and Williams, although James has been a beast. My gut wants to sit Jones and go with Williams because of the better matchup and possibke shootout. I'm afraid GB gets up early agaonst a struggling StL offense and is content running.

I'm no expert, but my gut tells me James jones on this one, and his recent play coupled with another week sans Jennings has a lot to do with it. With Jordy taking all the prime coverage, I actually like Jones to somewhat maintain his torrid pace. Cobb isn't going to be a threat downfield. All these factors point to another productive week for Jones.

I'm also a bit turned off by mike Williams. Sure, he has been producing some very nice stat lines, but he has been doing that on pretty limited targets / receptions (season high 4 catches). I would be very worried for the week where he doesn't have a "big play" or reach the end zone.

Luck vs Browns or Palmer vs Jax?

Im only considering this because Ive seen a few sites play up Palmer as a good pick this week. The Browns are also getting quite a bit healthier.

Thanks MounD! The points you made about Jones is why i have been starting him. No Jennings, Jordy taking the best CB or being double-teamed, no runnning game, and of course, Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball. I am certain Jones scores this w.e. My concern is twofold: 1) StL. should be able to get pressure on Rodgers and they have a damn good secondary - GB may be slowed. And 2) If GB is not slowed, they score early, get a lead, and then stop passing. I don't see St.L's offense moving the ball much, and that's part of my worry. I don't see a lot of motivation for GB's offense to keep the foot on the petal, as was the case in Hou who actually had enough offense.

On the Williams side, he has the less reliable QB, but he's going up against the weaker secondary and overall defense. N.O.'s offense will force TB's offense to score. Also, Jackson has been drawing the double team, freeing Williams much how Jordy has done for Jones. Furthermore, Jackson has a calf issue that caused him to be limited in practice Friday. For this reason, i see them relying on Williams even more.

I'd like to hear more opinions to bounce my thoughts off of. Again, thanks buddy!!

am I the only one who would prefer Britt over both those guys? Rams secondary is elite. Mike Williams has a nice matchup, but Britt is elite AND has a good matchup AND has a proven connection with Hasselbeck. The Bills run defence is bad and they will have to help them out against CJ0K. Should leave Britt wide open most of the game.

Britt was the obvious first choice. I was trying to help him decide b/w James Jones and Williams for the final slot. Sorry I didn't specify that, but Britt wasn't even a consideration to ride pine. Start 'em for sure

ah I was a little quick myself. Then I'd go with Britt+Jones. He has earned the trust of Rodgers and even though the rams defence is good, they did pretty well against a good defence last week as well....

Yes, Britt is the clear two. I appreciate the responses guys. Still undecided, but i'm leaning toward Williams mainly because Finnegan will be on Jordy and Janoris Jenkins on Jones. I can see them both scoring. I just think this may be a trap game for GB. Also, those two corners are becoming lockdown types. I'm thinking Cobb has the biggest game by being free underneath. I think Jackson will be somewhat hampered with that calf, allowing Williams to lead TB in WR. And the shootout factor lewds me to believe Williams will have more TD opportunities... again, i'm leaning toward Williams. Any other thoughts?

Green
Britt
? Leaning toward Williams over Jones

From my own thread. Hoping to close a deal before the games kick off today, so I would appreciate ANY feedback!

We start QB, 2x RB, 2x WR, TE, WR/RB, WR/TE, K, DEF.
Bonus 4 points for 100+ yards rushing, 2 points for 100 yards receiving.
Other rules are standard non-ppr, 14 Team league

My squad:
QB: Rivers, Freeman
RB: Foster, McCoy, A Green(flex), Tate, Tanner
WR: AJ Green, Nicks, Blackmon(wr/te), Sanders, S Hill, V Brown
TE: Pitta

My normal starters are highlighted. The trade where I get Foster+Tate goes through on monday.

MY WEAKNESSES: I dont mind having Alex Green as my flex, but I am not very happy with Blackmon/Sanders/Hill as my WR/TE, but hopefully V Brown can contribute when he gets back. Pitta is not a TE1 either and Rivers/Freeman has been frustrating so far.

HIS TEAM:
QB: Eli, Cutler
RB: Spiller, Powell, Battle, Benson
WR: Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, James Jones, Gibson, Ogletree, Jeffery,
TE: Gronkowski, Gates

He LOVES Julio Jones and drafted him early this year. Last year he owned AJ Green so he has a similiar man crush on him after that. He has always been a huge fan of Antonio Gates and that is probably why he drafted him pretty early, even though he already owned Gronk. He is not a big fan of Eli Manning or Dez Bryant.

I am thinking about trying something like Green+Green for Dez Bryant, James Jones and Gronk. He is in trouble at RB, so any trade should involve Alex Green.
Anyone have any good ideas?
