A defenseman to keep an eye on this year in the WHL.
Went undrafted in 2011 due to personal reasons and was skipped over again this year.
He now leads the WHL in scoring with 17pts in the first 10 games.
I remember seeing his name in last year's dobber guide as one of the top D prospects to own, however, since his rights aren't owned by an NHL franchise, many people never bothered to draft him I'm assuming.
He was given an invite to this years NYR this summer. Once again. Just someone to keep an eye on.

Hard to believe no team took a chance on him in the later rounds considering he was projected to be a high pick before that accident (more than 1 draft I believe).

I can see EDM throwing a Justin Schultzesque contract at him. They need depth like him.

Considering how thin it gets in the late rounds I'm surprised nobody rolled the dice on Bell. At least he has a chance to turn into a good dman.

Kids with a history like his need to do everything they can to put these teams' minds to rest and apparently he hasn't done that.

Also, I read that he is playing forward this year; hence the gaudy numbers.

Correct, he is playing forward this year but he certainly has my attention in deep pools right now.
