mIt doesn't make narrative sense to just throw away a core character like that. My bet is that she reappears as hostage gets offed as a way to kick off the conflict between Woodbury and the group, or something.

Does anyone play the video game version by Telltale Games? I've played episode 1 so far and really liked it. It's about different main characters but it intersects with some of the regular comic book characters at some points.

I had never heard of it until your post. I went and looked it up and watched a couple videos and must say it looks like a great game. I really dig how it sounds as if every, every decision you make opens new paths through the game. Whereas in other games there's only a couple of crossroads moments that take you down one of two, or maybe three, different paths.

Definitely will be checking it out, but after listening to those videos, I may go out and grab the comic books first since the programmers appear to follow that story arc more than the TV show. Actually they did say it was it's own story, but that it parallels the comics.

I imagine this episode sync'd up with when they go find a captured Rick originally. Curious how the Daryl/Merl dynamic plays out. Seeing as the comic didn't have the brothers.

I think its pretty obvious the two will end up face to face with gun/crossbow pointed at each other. Darryl will side with his friends, he's a different person - I think he'll be disgusted by what Merle is - but will he actually take him out?

Mid-season finale next week, should be a barn-burner.

Agreed. I found this past Sunday to be a little lacking but hopefully the finale next Sunday will be worth the wait. I haven't read the comics but I find the Governor hard to understand. Is he just a nutjob? I mean, what's with the preserved heads he was staring at in that one earlier episode? I don't get it.

Addictive show though, nonetheless.
