Way overhyped and everyone jumped on the bandwagon after the first few seasons. Haven't watched past the fourth season or so.

BUT... THE ..>GIRL... WITH THE YELLOW UMBRELLA!... JEEZE. they ran with that a while last season and it never turned into anything.

I know! That's why I hate it so much. Tv has never felt like such a chore. The good news is that dexter and homeland are already back and the league and walking dead return this week. Now those are shows don't have to suffer through.

Walking dead is another I want to start... and never heard of Homeland.

Speaking of chores... I've watched the first 5 seasons of Lost and just started the 6th and I've heard so much about how horribly it ends but I can't just leave it at season 5. Gawd damnit.

Won the Emmys last year for best drama, best male lead (drama), best female lead (drama) over shows like Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Suffice it to say, Homeland is good.

You will either hate LOST or leave suppremely satisfied, it all depends on whether you cared about the mystety more or the characters.

What's it about? If it's Sci-Fi I'm not too interested... might have to check it out if not though.

Guess I'll find out in another bunch of episodes.

I'm done with the show, they keep stretching it out and teasing who could be the mother of Ted's kids and they won't stop.

The episodes were hard enough to watch last season, I can't watch it anymore.

It was good for the first five seasons, now its just bad news IMO.

Basically its about three college friends who try and make it in the real world, they go through various relationships and meet this guy Barney (Neil Patrick Harris). Nobody has any idea what his job is, but he works for Goliath National Bank in some capacity.

Ted (Josh Radnor) is an architect, Marshall (Jason Segel) is a lawyer and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) is a teacher.

Marshall meets Lily in college and they have one or two rough spots, but they're together a vast majority of the time. Ted is always searching for the perfect relationship, but he's still interested in Robin (Cobie Smulders). Robin is a Canadian girl that they meet at some point (can't remember where).

That's pretty much it, the first five seasons are enjoyable, then they just stretch it way too much IMO.

The reason the show is called How I Met Your Mother is because Ted is supposed to meet his wife at some point and Bob Saget is narrating the story to his two kids (supposed to be Ted as a father).

Its about his pursuit of who will be his wife.
