New to the DobberHockey Cage Match Tournament is the loser bracket. The way it works is that if you get eliminated you are then banished to one of our Loser Islands. This here is the Cloutier Island. If you don't understand why Dan Cloutier has his own island then you've clearly never played with a beach ball.

Once banished to an island you can only escape by getting voted off by the readers. Each week a new goaltender will get voted off until each island has but one remaining. These are your losers for the year. Sounds like fun, yes?

Remember to vote based on a one-year league with Wins, GAA, Save% and Shutouts as scoring categories.

Niemi for me and it was a really easy call.

Up until last season Brian Elliott was a terrible goalie on his way out of the NHL. He had a good year last year obviously but let him show it a couple more times before I forget about how bad he was before.

The fact that Niemi doesn't have all the votes in this poll shows how little respect he gets, while posting good numbers year after year (well ok the last two and a half years).
