Just picked up these two goalies for my pool in Sig.
Curious if you see either on as a #1 and when?

Forwards: Crosby, Malkin, Backstrom, Seguin, Kunitz, Wheeler, Silvferberg, Berglund, Johansson

Defense: Yandle, Letang, Shattenkirk, Byfuglien, Larsson, Josi

Goalies: Niemi, Halak, Vokoun

Prospects: Yakupov, Barkov, Drouin

Both could be by midseason (if there ever is a season).

Harding has the oft (and currently) injured Backstrom ahead of him -- and Backstrom only has a year left on his contract.

The exact same thing could be said for Markstrom (although Theodore isn't currently injured as far as I know).

If there's no season this year, I'd think both have a great shot at roaming their respective creases when the NHL fires back up a year from now (or longer?).

I like Markstrom's opportunity, upside, and timeframe better than Harding's.

I think this is perhaps an understatement; however, it's important to realize that Harding does have a pretty decent outlook toward becoming a starter in MIN. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him starting sooner rather than later, and doing very well taboot.

Based on the last news involving the FLA/VAN trade speculation, FLA was basically willing to give up an older player with a larger contract and VAN wanted a top prospect along the lines of Bjugstad +.

Seems like they're way too far apart.

They could change their stance at any point too. Luongo is not worth top prospects anyway.

Of course, just saying. But given the goalie market/luongo's contract I think if a deal does go down it's going to be a lot closer to Florida's side.
