Assumimg a 82 game season how many games would he start?

This year
Next year
Year after

I can't see him playing more then 20-25 games a season

Thoughts?

It depends on how much Rask holds up. He is not proven as a workhorse so we just don't know. But as long as Rask is healthy and not terrible, Khudobin will get 20 or fewer starts.

I'd say 20-30 starts. Lots can change, competition, injuries, etc.

I've been saying for most of the summer that I think Khudobin can legitimately earn 30 starts and post very good stats. He's a lot better than he was a year ago. He has done a great job of adding a more technical base to his "unbridled enthusiasm" (Seinfeld lol). He has a lot to learn in terms of playing consistently at the NHL level, but every game he has played that I've seen, he has been beyond solid. He's entering a pressure-free situation as Rask's backup with very low expectations. He's flying under the radar and that almost helps his odds in terms of fantasy value. Probably one of the best "backup-to-a-stud-starter" goalies you can find this "season".

Love hearing this about another Bruins backup!! Khudobin is in a great spot here, he is going to have ZERO pressure..
