My buddy Wyatt is creating a "Fake Canucks Season" for readers of the Province to follow. He's simming an NHL 13 season with the Canucks and providing highlights and commentary.

Wyatt is known as "The Stanchion" around the internet.

Anyway, he is a really funny guy and a great writer. And he has put together these awesome videos.

In his latest, he even got Canucks prospect Eddie Lack to weigh in with his thoughts on the fake season. Lack is already a fan favorite in Vancouver without ever playing a game.

Ab-solutely hilarious. I just watched all of them, and it's definitely getting a lot better. Can't wait to keep up with the fake goalie controversy on the fake Canucks this season; I'm throwing my hat in with Eddie Lack for fake Canucks fake 2012-13 season fake starting goalie.

Kind of pathetic that I actually enjoyed watching those highlights, but at the same time Wyatt was hilarious. And you're right mounD, the fake controversy adds a dimension. The "fake" references attached to everything in the highlight pack - good stuff. Only had time to watch one today, but the longer I go without real hockey the harder it will be to resist watching more.
