To paraphrase Helmuth von Moltke "No plan survives contact with the enemy". That applies to pretty much every fantasy draft I've ever taken part in. Then again I don't see our draft, I'm assuming this pertains to Rocky Horror, being as wildly erratic as most of the ones I'm used to taking part in.

I've got my first two rounds mapped out barring surprises, after that I have multiple plans of attack ready to account for changes in the flow of the draft.

Fabulous quote - so, so true. I agree that with the talent in our pool, things are likely to be less erratic but we all have our little foibles that we have to work hard to keep in check. Pretty hard to avoid going off the board on occassion for the can't miss guy that in fact ends up missing (witness Shoeless and Jeff Carter in this league last year - yuck!)

Well, regardless of how well or poorly I draft - I love drafting - the adrenalin pump gets going and it's a fun ride. Now if I can just find that bottle of self-control pills to ward off the dread lurgies.

No way you'll see me with Kovalchuk and Karlsson after two rounds.

I know where your coming from about drafting. It's a rush and occasionally even if you've drafted well the season itself is like the crash after a high.

We'll see how this goes, I'm really pumped for it.

I'm really looking forward to it. I agree it's quite the rush, and I hope nothing happens to my internet connection (laptop + mobile broadband). I usually try to get on once it allows us (30 minutes before) as it's good having time to chat with others before it starts.

Funny how the three of us on this thread are picking next to each other in the draft.

Yeah it is kinda funny. Even funnier than that is the fact that we're both in the Adams Division of Dobber's entry league. It's almost as if your stalking me Mr Voorhees.....

I dunno, Derek has me projected for Perry and Kipper in the first two rounds - that's probably better than I could draft on my own, especially since Yahoo has been tempermental for me the last hour.
