If you don't take the most favored, and he does, every week he has a better chance to win.

If your reasoning is to save the team to use later, that could have some weight, but especially this week with PIT when their only future value is week 16 or 17, expecting a heads-up survivor pool to last another 6 weeks is a little ambitious.
