Default Bjugstad...where will he fit in?

Just trying to get a feel where he will end up in the organization in the next few years. Weiss and Huberdeau are most likely 1/2 going forward and if Weiss is re-signed it won't be as a third line pivot. So does weiss get moved? Do they ease Bjugstad in and give him 3rd/4th line responsibilities and play it from there? Do they move one to the wing?

For what it's worth, I read that they were trying Hubs on Bjugstad's wing at prospect camp. Doesn't mean much but it's something.

Bjugstad could play a 3rd line role with PP time for the first couple years of his career. He is big and good defensively so he can play the role. It's also possible that one shifts to wing. Either way I wouldn't consider it much of a stumbling block. Some may point to the Jordan Staal situation in Pittsburgh as a comparable but that was a result of Staal transitioning poorly to the wing.

thanks for the replies guys. I was thinking something along those lines but just wanted to have some opinions from people that pay more attention to the Panthers than myself.

I believe he Huberdeau will be shifted to LW, in the games I seen the Sea Dogs play he hardly ever took faceoffs. Bjustad will be a Center moving forward I believe.

I think Bjugstad will fit in anywhere in the top 6.

He has the quick, and lethal shot to be a winger, and has the body and size to play center. I think he should be fine wherever he ends up.
