Tarasenko has the skill to be potentially higher, but I don't think he'll do it. Too much depth in STL. Gally should be the better one in my opinion, anyway. I think his work ethic and all should put him leagues ahead of everyone.

Galchenyuk. When in doubt, take the top 5 pick over the other 1st rounders everytime. The stats back it up.

I agree with this, but there were many who said Tarasenko would have been drafted top 5 if he weren't Russian.

STL has a lot of really good players, but no GREAT ones. Put a dynamic scorer / game-breaker like Tarasenko in the mix and I think all the forward depth will help, not hinder, his production.

Flip a coin between these two great players but IMO Tarasenko will make a more immediate impact and be the better choice long term. Not by much though.
