I'd take my chances with RNH and Neal. Minus Shatt, the $ is about the same. And that 2nd could very well be every bit the player Shatt is,too.

Thanks for the additional info Jason - thought you might have given up much more than you actually did - although you did strip out your rookie protections.

I guess I am on the fence with this deal - I see it as being very close. One87 suggests that 2nd rounder you are getting back might be as good as Shattenkirk but I wonder with 140 + rookies protected if that will be the case. BUT, I do like RHN and Neal over Seguin and Staal though.

I'd probably do it.
