I usually purchase all of the guides I can get. Some for laughs and some for real. I'm confused with Dougie Hamilton. I usually trust 100% in Dobbers guide.

Dobber has him 9 Gp and 3 points. (obviously back to minors) but a 10% chance for 40 point sleeper ability this season.
Poolers Guide has him full season and 30 points.
THN has him full season and 40 points.

Whats the chances he sticks in Boston?

I have him on my team but I don't expect that I'll use him this year. However, I do think that he'll stick in the NHL, if nothing else then because he has nothing left to learn in the OHL. I think they'll ease him into the NHL. Maybe he forces himself into the top six right away or maybe he'll start off as a scratch and then getting into games, but I don't think he'll be sent back to junior. My 2 cents.

I think he sticks and gets 20-30 points. But in any event I advise against putting too much immediate stock into rookies. They are long-term investments for both you and the team.

It will all depend on Hamilton's camp, really...but I definitely expect him to play a full season...in fact, I guarantee he will. He'll immediately be fantasy relevant...and in the future, he'll be a top 10-15 fantasy d-man for the rest of his career.

I could see him playing the whole NHL season, whatever there is of one.

The reasons; He really is too good for the CHL and the AHL is not an option. The Bruins could really use a few players on entry level contracts since the team is pushing the cap ceiling. The sooner he can start learning from Chara the better. And, again, he really is too good for the CHL.
