JJ should thrive on being the #1. I like the way he started to control games at the end of last year. He is physical and I believe that he will start shootong more as he gets comfortable in CLB and the role.
Visnovsky should be better but who knows how that will play out.
Kulikov will be great but I am not sure he is there yet.

I like JJ here. Even in CLB.

My thoughts exactly and if this were in terms of upside he would be my choice from that group.

Thanks guys. The other catch I forgot to mention is that playoffs count. I highly doubt
JJ /EJ and his CBJ/COL team(s) make the playoffs. So, im looking at other options - hmm, not the best choices w/ CAL, FLA, BUF, NYI, WPG dmen in play...maybe Bieksa (VAN)? argh..

My other dmen are Yandle, Carlson, S Elliot, P Martin, C Pronger. Not very dependable come playoffs time. Pronger will most likely be cut/replaced/recycled. Ah well, Ill worry about that later.

Sabres are in the playoffs this year for sure. I'm just not sure how I feel about Myers. I think I would still go with JJ and then maybe try to adjust during the season.

Since none of the other class of dmen is a sure fire, i might have to strategize by re-drafting a fwd/goalie and trade for a 40+ pts/playoff bound dman.

Ditto. As a JJ owner I was Jacked (ha!) to have him, Doughty and Kopitar on one PP unit and pretty ticked to see him go to a hole like CBJ. But he was a completely different player when he got there. He was the number one guy, was WAY more confident and was shooting a lot more, no more passing it off to a Doughty type player. I'm hoping and think its a good bet he'll break out this year.
