Cheers

Tough call. Both big NHL bodies. Both with similar upsides. Albeit a very small sample size, I did not like what I saw from Grigs. at the Can-Russia Jr Challenge. Grigs was hardly noticeable. The announcers commented on the fact that his skating was not up to par and he wasn't able to keep pace. They thought he had much work to do on his skating/pace IF he was going to play with the Sabres. Whereas Coyle can flat out fly. Grigs will need some major seasoning in the AHL for a year or two IMO. That is where I heard he is most likely destined.

Coyle for me. Could fit nicely as a 2nd line LW behind Parise in a year's time.

Coyle is more certain, Grigs has more upside. So it's where you value risk/upside, everyone is different. I like risk so I take Grigs here

I don't see their upsides as at all comparable.....Coyle could be a 70 point guy eventually.......Grigorenko has work to do obviously but he does have that superstar upside that's rare (90+).

I'd go with Grigo in a points-only.....take the gamble it's a lot more fun.

I would go with Grigorenko based on upside but I wouldn't be surprised if Coyle outscored him in 4 of the next 6 seasons. But as the others have said - the gamble could pay off huge if the Russian reaches his ceiling.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. In a points only league id go Grigorenko.

The guide has Grigs with an upside/3YP a whole SEVEN points higher than Coyles....that's why I said similar....it's no landslide ....

Just think Grigs is highly overrated. Soft hands and great around the net, but can't skate....well.

Don't burn me at the cross here....i'm still taking Charlie.
