smith is really good but i dont think he is highly regarded in our pool and has only had 1 good year. plus there are scads of good goalies going to be in this draft.

guys like lucic, hartnell become as valuable as thornton hossa types because of hits...but i do have the #4 overall pick in the draft in which i could probably get one of them back if i let both go in the draft and kept hossa or thornton instead.

great problem to have but kinda stressful since im a big boston fan and love lucics youth

so are there any keepers youd swap out that ive picked?

I would keep Thornton over Lucic here.
You can probably re-draft him. If not, you'll still be able to draft "for hits" in later rounds if necessary and OV and Boyle will help you in that regard as well.

i can definitely see the argument to keep thornton over lucic, but boyle over edler? seems like edler has the youth and upside here no? 143 hits compared to just 50 some by boyle...

Totally agree. I don't feel Lucic's age or hit value is enough to keep him over Joe. Lucic won't touch Thornton in pts, and you can find a source of HITS elsewhere. The pts that Thornton will do arr not so easy to replace. Other than that, I like the list.

I agree, I'd look for those peripheral stats through the draft. You could always trade during the season to fill in if needed. You could pick up a a guy like Matt Martin for hits.

I'm thinking my keepers r a little assist heavy. I've also added stloius and green in the offseason so I'm almost thinking hossa over Thornton. Don't really care about wing or center status

good point, didn't notice the hit difference. Just love the consistency of Boyle (usually around 50 pts and no reason to think he can't do it for another year) but you'd be fine with keeping Edler too.

I'd pass on Edler and go with Thornton.
PPG scores will be hard to find in the draft...Chara & Weber give you an advantage in the all around rotisserie scoring...and you can draft the hitters later
