I think I may end up keeping Lucroy and Medlen and try to re-draft Perez. If Medlen keeps his RP eligibility into next year, he's could be a great $0 grab for me this year.
Yeah that would be a good thing to do.

Newest dilemma: my last spot is down to Axford, Medlan, Harvey, Perez....or Skaggs :/ Apparently our keeper rules don't let me keep him as a minor leaguer next year. Great.

Off season plan:.consolidation. Two for ones.

Curious to know a bit more about Lecroy. I own him in a very limited keeper and he wasn't really on my radar to keep but there is part of me that thinks I should at least entertain the idea, if what we've seen in his limited plate appearances could project over an entire season.

To put it in perspective, the only guys I'm reasonably certain will be kept in my pool are: Posey and Mauer. If I look at this years top producers in my pool he looks attractive:

1) Posey 446pts in 442AB's - roughly 1pt per at bat
2) Mauer 436pts in 467AB's - under 1pt pet at bat
3) Molina 392pts in 426AB's - under

the next player that comes in at a production level equal to Posey is Ruiz

8) Ruiz 322pts in 313AB's

then we get to Lecroy

14) Lecroy 242pts in 235 AB's (if he projects at this pace over an entire season it puts him in a group of only three other catchers this year)

Thoughts?

Talented guy, former top prospect that took a few years to develop. Now, at age 26, he's in the majors for good and headed for his prime.

Not to mention the hitter friendly Miller Park as well, I expect Lucroy to be a stud for years.

I put Lucroy at around .290 with 18 homers and 80 rbi going forward. He's considerable for your league I think...

Perez. He's got higher upside for sure.

I'd go with Lucroy, myself. Perez may have a little mote pop, but Lucroy has enough and is more consistant.

I think you may need to firm up your RP/closer, so go Axford.

I agree, but I have no idea who else to drop. Garcia or Hellickson are the only 2 that come to mind. What am I supposed to do with Storen? Skaggs?

Now that he's nailing down the closing gig again, I feel the same way. But it's a tough choice. Him or Storen? Him and Storen?

I keep Axford and Storen plus the rest of my current keepers, I won't have room for Medlen, Harven or Skaggs. Feels like a lot to give up for a closer.

I've made the decision to keep Lucroy. As much as I like Perez, I'm definitely keeping Lucroy unless I can consolidate my SP's in the off-season through several 2-for-1 deals and make room.

Boys I'm loving these replies. Keep em coming if you have any thoughts. Take a look at my whole team and tell me who you would think about dropping to cut it to 20.
