Wow, I just received this offer from the guy that wants Brees in my ten team PPR keeper league.

I give: Brees, McCoy (PHI) and Fitzgerald
I get: Stafford, Peterson and Calvin Johnson

He also said he would replace Peterson with Forte if I prefer Forte.

I'm think I should do this...

Peterson has been dealing with injuries, so I'm a little hesitant. But Johnson is better than Fitzgerald. Stafford is getting better each year and he's pretty darn good already. So, I guess with that, I'm saying you should do it. You win 2 out of the 3 comparisons, I think.

I'd pass - I think Brees is more stable than Stafford by a decent amount (Stafford has really only played one year healthy, though it was a hell of a year!) McCoy to Peterson (or Forte) is a huge downgrade and the perception is that Calvin to Fitz isn't that big (both studs), though I like Calvin a ton over Fitz.

Counteroffer with Brees & Fitz for Stafford and Calvin - I wouldn't do that RB trade part, it's not like what you have is horrible! And if he doesn't value Fitzgerald then why trade him? Find another trade partner for Larry

REal question here is : do you think Peterson will out point Fitzgerald?

CJ and McCoy are the top of their respective positions IMO. Apples and Oranges, but still.

Pass. I just don't see what your motivation is to do this. You'd be giving up three elite players at there respective position for one elite WR, a possible elite QB and former elite RB who may or may not return to top ten status.

After watching Fitzgerald tonight, I agree with Dyv and Bomb

Too many Q's with Peterson and Stafford's injuries to do this deal.

Fitz is still capable of blowing by Ds and catching balloons, Skelton and Kolb both stink, but he's still going to get his yards. McCoy's rise to #1 this year isn't worth passing on.

No doubt you'd get younger, but Peterson worries me. Brees is also a tier above Stafford. I'd feel better adding a fourth piece on each side - Peterson, Forte, Stafford and Johnson from him. If he approached you, he should be workable. As of right noelw, though, I wouldn't do the current deal as constructed. He would have to add Forte and that would have to beat your fourth by a wide margin.
