Default Who to pick?

I'm picking third in an ESPN draft. Who should I take?
one of the top 3 RB's? Or Rodgers?

Depends on your strategy and settings.

Top RB will give you that security of having one elite back and you could grab a solid QB later on like Romo/Rivers/Vick/Ryan/Cutler. Or to ensure you have an elite QB as RB tend to have more risk and you'd rather find value in the middle rounds. However, looking at settings if you get, for example, 6 points for a TD pass then Rodgers might be more enticing. If maybe it's PPR then perhaps a RB is a better choice for you.

There isn't one right answer.

To give yourself the confidence at having a solid roster, think about how you'd like your team to look and build a strategy to find value in each round. Once you have a plan, you'll have a better idea on whom to choose. Good luck.

At #3 take one of the top 3 RB's. Although Rodgers may outscore them, they are far more valuable in fantasy.

Your choices are Calvin Johnson, the 'leftover' RB or Rodgers - this is like choosing if you want strawberry, blueberry or chocolate cheesecake.

How can you go wrong?

Thanks guys. I usually like to get a Stud R.B.early and a Q.B. in the thirdish round and then see where the draft leads me. Thinking Ray Rice with my !st pick

Rodgers and Brees should be the first two. Beyond them, it's a dice roll with Rice, McCoy, etc. If I had to choose between those two, i'd prefer McCoy, especially if it is a keeper.
