I never really expressed a whole lot of interest in doing the ramblings, but Tyler (the editor) told me after I submitted my "Ailing Arms" article that he would love it if I did the ramblings.

I gave it a shot and got an email back from him saying "Mac, good work on the ramblings. You're a natural."

I can honestly say I was a bit surprised because I'm not used to doing short summaries and posting several thoughts about what's going on in the baseball world. I'm used to writing articles and expressing my opinions about players.

Now I feel good about it and I'll be doing these every week.
