In a multi-cat league that has hits, blocks, FOW, etc., who would you prefer? I might not even need them for this year or next since I can send him to my prospects. And don't worry about positions, I need 'em all.

I'll roll the dice on Cervenka, he's just more experienced at a higher level of competition. He might not hit as much as Biggs but he should make up for it with his offense. The Flames were willing to pay the max for him and set him up for an immediate top six role. The best part is he's only signed for one year so if the experiment fails, you could probably still drop him and claim one of the other two at that point. If he does work out, his development will be further ahead than the others.

I like Cervenka here too. He's similar in a lot of ways to Brunner (older for a prospect) but has a better immediate opportunity. Biggs on the other hand is more of a physical guy and you need PIM in the league for him to have good value. Even then, how long will it take for him to become good enough offensively to be a good combo player?

I would go with Cervenka, he is the more NHL ready player.
