HELP! Fantrax Question - Fantasy Sports Forums

I am running multi-cat (non H2H) league, with max # of games per position at 85 per player, and 75 per goalie (Cx4, LWx4, RWx4, Dx6, Gx2). Is the max entered at the Rosters page (position breakdown) 85 or 340 (85 x4)?

Sorry one more, if I want the points to accumulate per position/game (to the 85 max per position), rather than the season totals per player, how do I set this. Basically I want it so that if I swap player A from my active roster, to the bench for Player B I want to be sure to accumulate the points for both player A (before the swap) & B (after the swap). Same goes for Trades/FA pick-ups/Wavier, I want the team to get the points for the player going forward, not the ones they have already accumulated (in the case of a trade the points would stay with the original team).

Sorry, I am sure that these are simple questions, but I am being going through the league and can't be sure I have done it correctly.

No one knows? Maybe it is just automatically done this way? I just remember being in a pool a couple of years ago and when you picked up a player from FA you got all of his points....it sucked to have people rewarded for not drafting that player.

Here is what dug up :

"The Min/Max GP restrictions in "League Setup --> Rosters" refer to the position that you set your player to on the Team Roster screen, regardless of what position that player plays on his team. For example, if you set Patrick Sharp to RW (assuming he's eligible at RW), and he starts a game, that game played will count towards the GP for RW, not LW or C.

* The min/max GP restrictions in the Rosters league setup screen and the team min/max restrictions in the Min-Max league setup screen both apply to the entire season for non-Head-to-Head leagues, and to each Scoring Period for Head-to-Head leagues"

In terms of your second concern, I have sent an email to a couple of commish's that might have the answer.

But for the best way and most effecient way, try the fantrax team (like DR stated):
