The Yankees announced following Saturday's win over Toronto that the team has placed starter CC Sabathia on the 15-day disabled list with his elbow issue. Thought to be a minor issue, the Yankees are playing it safe by shelving him, reports the New York Daily News. "As far as the concern, it's pretty low level," said manager Joe Girardi. Sabathia is out for his next start Monday against Texas and the Yankees have not announced a replacement yet.
