Bit late to the party but Callahan for me..
You can rebuild your top end talent and still compete with a guy like Callahan because he does everything. Focus on on getting hits and PIM and hope that you can put up points occassionally to win. Callahan is fantastic for a league like yours - You already have Neal and Hartnell another 2 good hits/PIM guys that can do offensive damage. Its a good core of a team. That being said if Hartnell starts the season out well I would try to trade him.. he doesn't fit a rebuilding team.

yah, i'm trying to retool the team, and understand Hartnell is getting up there in age. Would you trade him for Lucic (younger similar player)? Also been offered Parise for my Neal.

I know my team isn't built to win right away (since taking over last place team), and trying to find the balance between staying competitive and just picking up young prospects.

My Dmen in particular are quite old and one dimensional, so would like to upgrade there. They will help out with ppp points however.
