who would you take in a limited keeper league

are any of the PPP or other peripherals worth keeping purcell over stepan, seeing as stepan is good for 3-400 FOW/yr.

Personally, I'm a fan of Stepan, and with those stats especially. I think he's in for a big year with the Rangers. I'm pretty sure he also kills a lot of penalties for Torts, so that even makes him more valuable (plus all the face off wins). Good luck!

It depends how limited the keeper league is.. I feel like Stephan will be solid but I'm not sure he is worth keeping in a limited keeper league. He is the #2 center on a defensive minded team. Richards will get the majority of the offensive zone draws and Stephan will have to wait until Gaborik gets back before we see what he can really do.

Purcell has the potential to be a much higher point scorer in my opinion, he is in an ideal situation playing with Stamkos and St. Louis so I will favor Purcell (even though he isn't a multi cat guy really).

The faceoff category puts Stepan ahead by alot. I'm thinking if he plays with Nash (he will probably IMO), his points total should be equal or greater to Purcell's.

Assuming you do not have differentiated positions,I like Stepan. If centers and wingers are rostered separately, It's much closer, as Stepan's FOW won't be anything special for a center.

It would help in general to know the composition of your team.

I think Purcell is being a tad bit overrated personally..I don't think Stepan will be too far off from him points wise and his periphs are better.

This makes a big difference and I was assuming positional requirements.. if a forward is a forward then Stepan clearly - but I feel like it will generally always be centers picked over wings if you have FOW with out positional requirement.

If there is positional requirement I still like Purcell.. Playing with Stamkos + MSL is much better than Nash or a few months of Gaborik. There is a lot more depth at center than there is at LW.
