I'm currently pushing for the championship this season. I am looking at making the following two trades -- number of years left on contract (i.e. until I lose the player) in parenthesis.

Carl Crawford(2), Taijuan Walker (farm), Nick Franklin/Zack Cozart (farm)
for
Elvis Andrus(2), Jacoby Ellsbury(2)

and

Ian Desmond (2), Jose Altuve (farm), Brett Anderson (3)
for
Ian Kinsler(3)

This would leave me with Hamilton, Beltre, Kinsler, Andrus for the remainder of the season. I lose Beltre this off-season and Hamilton could sign elsewhere, so it may be down to only 2 Rangers next season, but wondering if putting all eggs in one basket is worth the risk down the stretch. I'm satisfied with the value of the deals, but I want to make sure this isn't too risky because it seems like the Rangers have been struggling a bit lately (Hamilton and Napoli most notably seem to be holdling the offense back).

The main question is whether you are in a H2H or roto league. If in H2H I would be a bit wary because all you need is to run into a hot pitching staff or have the team go in a slump for a series and that's almost half your week's worth of games.

If anything I would push for the first deal because that is great value if you're going for the title now.

Offensive categories are tight. I could feasibly get to 10, 11, 11, 8, 8 with a strong finish. If I stop getting totally unlucky I should climb the ladder in wins and do no worse than current position in the other pitching cats.

Kinsler, Andrus, ellsbury with bonifacio and choo to bench would replace cuddyer, Bonifacio, choo with altuve and crawford on bench.
