Who wins?
Im getting the backstrom side. Keep 8-4-1-1 goal and ppp heavy Tavares, eberle, kessel, ericksson, h.swdin, b.richards, heatley, moulson, hartnell, grabo, vrbata Whitney, gagner, briere, m.johansson (it) Chara, oel, Myers, letang, timonen, Seabrook eliot (BN) Quick, crawford, nwuvirth (BN) |

Eberle / Letang side.
Letang is gold on PPP heavy formats and Eberle will get more goals than Backstrom. I am also intrigued to see how Edmonton's PP1 shapes up. So in a goal heavy / PPP heavy league I personally like Eberle and Letang better. |

Even without knowing the stats, I would also take the Backstrom side. Backstrom is just more proven. Letang will outpoint Subban most seasons, but not by a wide margin......
Eberle is my favorite player in the NHL. so I'm definitely not sayin this wih any bias. |

Eberle and Letang for me because the diference betwin Letang and Subban is higher than Eberle and Backstrom...
Backstrom > Eberle Letang >>> Subban

I'd really need to see all the stats your league uses before making a decision on this one.

No cats. Pts only. 2pts, g, 2pts dg, ppp, shg, gwg.
at worst, I break even imo. I could lose this deal, but imo, backsteom is a top 10 Player. L'étang is better than pk, but nit considerably. |

Quote:
I prefer Backstrom/PK only because there's more of a known factor with Backstrom, he's usually right around the 20-25 goal mark, but could push 30... PK is around the 10 mark give or take but could be up towards 15... Eberle had a very good year last year, but is also shot a crazy 18.9% as well, so that might be a feat harder to repeat from a year to year basis. If he regresses back to 15%, he's dropping about 7 goals... Letang is pretty consistent at posting around 10 goals per season, but I dunno if there's a lot of room for much more. Either way both sides is pretty even, you won't gain a huge edge with one side over the other... Backstrom is a bit safer but if Eberle/Letang can keep up their elevated rates, they could have a higher upside.

If Ovie doesn't return to superstar ways, then backstrom is an 80 point player.I think Eberle can do just as much, but with more goals especially on the PP. I don't think it's a trade that will kill you, but I'd try to squeeze more out of him.
