I have literally been trying all summer to deal Holtby, and between lack of interest from other managers and I guess just not making good enugh offers, I have been unable to.

The offer that I received was Marleau for Holtby straight up.....thoughts?

Our keeper deadline is tonight and I could still drop Edler and Streit and keep Holtby/Markstrom, but Id prefer to deal one of them. Here would be my keepers if I did that.

I would keep Holtby. I am not a big fan of Marleau and his point totals have gone down for 3 years in a row.

I would take Marleau.

Need a bigger sample size to be convinced that I'd take Holtby over a proven 30-goal, 270SOG, 25+ PPP guy like Marleau. Especially since your team is built to win now. Holtby isn't even a #1 right now

Edit: Looks like 5hole and I are on the same page.

Your team is solid. I would keep with the win now philosophy and keep elder and/or clarkson over holtby and/or markstrom.

Ya keeping Edler is a good play as well. He's van;'s #1 Dman and i see him breaking 50 this yr.

I would also take Marleau. Holtby hasn't put up numbers over an entire season as of yet, and even if he does, I don't think you're getting bad value in Marleau.

You have solid Goaltending. I might be inclined to keep Markstrom as insurance, but I wouldn't fault you for keeping Edler.

Streit could be in for a good year too. +/- can't be as bad as last year, NYI are getting better and he's in a contract year. I smell 55+ pts with decent peripherals, although still don't think I keep him over Edler in a keeper league.
