So my question is, if I were to dangle Toews for a winger, what kind of player should be coming back?
Toews? One of the better tier 2 centers in the league.

Brown - don't overpay after the cup run. I'd think about moving Toews for Kessel if you are desperate for a RW, but you should be able to get a bit more. Kessel doesn't have the same name value as Toews.

I have pick #6 and need more help at F than D but am 99% sure that the top 5 will be Yak, Galy, Grig, Fberg and TT so we're moving into the 2nd level of F prospects and taking the first D becomes a better option.

So would you take a Faksa, Hertl, Grigensons, Wilson, Samuelsson ahead of Reilly or Dumba? I think my D is one of the best in the league (Buff & Letang) but adding to strength helps massively in trades so which way do you go?

First-post-bonus-question: could you rank the above guys as well? Those F are pretty much a toss up for me while I think I like Dumba over Reilly due to potential opportunity amongst a bevy of very good offensive prospects about to move into the NHL.

Cheers!
Welcome to posting. I'd go with a d-man. Rielly is a guy I like a lot. You make a good point regarding Minnesota's forward prospects.

The above guys - Faska the most as he is only a year away. I like Hertl and Girgensons after that.

Yes I do. I see him hitting 30 points within the next 3 seasons

I don't see much of an effect within the next 2-3 years. They are both raw

Omark, Da Costa, Aliu, Mursak, Nolan, Cormier, Bulmer

Thankyou
Omark - trade bait, could excel elsewhere
Mursak - should be in the show too

Don't see much from any of the other guys for 12-13

My final options for my bottom 2 active forward spots are A Desjardins, C Gillies, L Leblanc, K Barch, S Matthias, M Beleskey and G Brule (assuming he signs). Which 2 do you see having the best year?
I don't think you got good value at all, to be honest. Eller will be a solid 3rd C, but Burmistrov's upside is quite a bit higher

Leblanc if it is a keeper. I like Matthias too.

Please rank the following forwards and dmen from "best as a keeper for my team" perspective, for the league in my sig:

- Forwards: Roy, Fleischmann, Perron, Horton, Havlat

- D: Visnovsky, Bieksa, White, McDonagh (keeping in mind my top 3 of Karlsson, Letang and Byfuglien are already going to give tons of points, SOG, etc., and our league counts blocked shots).
Perron, Horton, Roy, Flash, Havlat
Bieksa, McDonagh, Vis, White

20/20
He has 60-70 pt upside but will play a heavy defensive role

I'm completing a re-build a year early thanks to a gamble on Mike Smith paying off much better than I ever could have hoped. I'm betting this year that he repeats or comes pretty close to doing so. With that in mind I made the following trade:

In
Milan Lucic
Patrice Bergeron
Erik Cole

Out (PHX)
Devin Setoguchi
Paul Gaustad
Matt Cullen
Marc Methot
Mike Komisarek
Tomas Tatar
Tomas Jurco
Ryan Spooner
Toni Rajala
Charles-Olivier Roussel

My roster is now:
Active:
F: Tavares, Seguin, Lucic, Bergeron, Erat, E. Cole, Mi Granlund, B Schenn, Tarasenko, Eller, K Barch, Beleskey
D: Byfuglien, JJ, Gardiner, Hedman, EJ, Robidas
G: M Smith

Bench:
F: Radulov, Brule, L Leblanc, C Gillies, Matthias, A Desjardins
D: B Smith, T Barrie, A MacDonald, N Schultz
G: Markstrom

It's a 30 team salary cap dynasty league, I finished 14th over-all last year. The above deal cleaned out a good chunk of my high-end prospect depth (still have Colborne, Dumba, Howden, McKegg, Kuhnhackl, Clendenning, Budish, Ebert, Kucherov, Gusev and others on a 30+ man farm roster). Did I make the move too early given the number of question marks on my roster (M Smith repeating, EJ finding his offense, 6 rookies (3 required to play major roles (Granlund, Tarasenko and Schenn))? I dont really have a problem with the value just potentially the timing.
Great moves - lost Spooner and Jurco who I like a lot, but added three legit talents.

Lucic, especially, is a guy to build around
