Default Byfuglien for Rask

Team and league in sig. along with the 8 guys in bold I plan on keeping. The guy that owns Rask in my league also has Schneider and Luongo. We only keep 8, so he is putting Rask on the trade block. He is interested in Byfuglien.

I don't really have a problem keeping 2 goalies because it would allow me to target quality forwards early in the draft, as opposed to worrying about getting a goalie. On the other hand, Buff is a beast, especially with my league's stats. What do you guys think?

I think you grab Rask here. While Buff is more valuable in your league's format than he is in a points only league, I think your point about protecting two goalies and focusing on adding forwards early in the draft is your best bet.

Go with Rask!

I would be keeping Buff. You look good in goal with Price and Hiller. I'd just add a third G for insurance and keep Byfuglien, because you need to start 6 D. Also, as you say, he's a beast in your league. I wouldn't move him.

I agree with CF and also Hiller will get you way more starts as Anaheim plays on a lot of off nights.

I think the best keeper to move would be Martin St. Louis, he is 37 this year and his PPP and overall points are on a decline.

He does have a few decent years left but his value will drop every year, I would put him on the block and would even be fine to take Rask in return but that might not happen. I think Subban is a stud in this format I would keep him over St Louis or trade him also.

The reason his points are on a "decline" is that Tampa's PP was brutal. Adjust for career-average PPP and he put up 88 points last year. St Louis is not in decline.

I agree whit you MSL is still elite for 2-3 years, last year he had the same amount of pts at 5-5 when he had 90+ so he is not on decline next year he will 85+ TB PP should be better and playing whit Stamkos help MSL.

Exactly my point, why not move a guy why he has value that will not be there in 2 to 3 years and keep a guy like Subban who is 23 and will get you stats for the next 10 + seasons and get you 40 points, average PPP, over 100 PIM, HITS, and Blocks which are all cats in your league. D like this are hard to get and keeping Buff and Subban will be huge.

I'm keeping MSL. My team will be a contender and I need his points. I think I could re-draft Subban. I'm not keeping Hiller. I really want to focus on quality starts over quantity, and Anaheim's defense doesn't look too good.
