I got the deal done in my one league for kershaw but now in my other league kers owner has offered me trout and wainwright for his kershaw. I was thinking of offering him Stanton and wainwright instead since Stanton has been on the dl and I'm winning with my outfield of Braun, trout and granderson. It's only keep four so my keepers would be Braun, trout, fielder and kershaw. An I paying to much offering this back? 12 team h2h points we keep 4
He has also made it known he would trade verlander for the right price.

If you are solid in what you are doing this year then Braun, Trout, Fielder and Kershaw are as about as solid a cuarto of keepers as you can get

Good for you, any time you can nab Kershaw is a plus. Huge! What did you give up!
Stanton and Trout are two totally different animals so be careful...You really have to look at your team and judge what your lacking....sb/runs or power numbers. Kershaw and V are very close and depends on your liking, neither is wrong. All are part of your 4 keepers, so its up to you.
I always grab power over speed even though Trout is now one of my favorite players ever, way too exciting...and even though I have Verlander for a 1-yr, Kershaw is my mine keeeper pick easy.
Good luck, not sure on the bats but given age and park I'd take Kershaw.

So anyone have input on who's the better keeper? Trout or Giancarlo? I've got Braun, fielder, grandy so power is not a necessity and trout is one of my fav player to watch so I'm leaning towards Stanton as trade bait but would like a few opinions I guess.

My opinion is Trout (or whomever you prefer to keep) Again, Trout's sample set is very small being 2012 (you could project out Trout's 2011 stats to compare against Stanton's, but Stanton had over 4x as many ABs, so not a really good way to go).

This year Stanton is hitting .285 with .364 OBP and .544 slugging % (his three year average). He has 81 hits, 19 HRs, 50 RBI and has walked 33times. Trout has a .355 BA, .413 OBP, and .605 slugging % in just a few more ABS this year. He has 111 hits, 16 HRs, 49 RBI and, 31 BB. The biggest differences between the two this year is Stanton as 80 Ks to Trouts 60 or so plus Trout has 31 steals to Stanton's 5.Both are pretty close to being statistically the same outside of Ks and SB.

Most of the talking heads in the baseball world are really high on Trout and say he could be the best thing since sliced bread for the next decade, but again none of them know this for a fact.

Now this is why fantasy baseball is fun. You get to make the call. Who do you want to keep at the end of the year? The previous poster may be right and Stanton and Trout turn out to be different animals (I think Trout eats Stanton for lunch in every cat. the long run, but my opinion only based and biased on all the hype. Plus I am a fisherman so any player named after my favorite target is going to get the nod). He might be right, but as a keeper that means you just draft accordingly next year.
