OK, I am at the point in the season in a 20 team dynasty league with 15 slot minor league bench where it is either time to poop or get off the pot.
The league is H2H points, and I have the newest "IT" prospect on my roster in Wil Myers, which has gotten me many offers. Two I am curious about are: 1) E5 for Myers and Fister - Issue is he one and done or is this the Encarnacion that we can expect for the next 4/5 years? I need a solution at 1B and this could be it, but consensus (including me) is Fister and Myers is the way to go 2) Myers for Choo and a draft pick - OK I have Quitntin Berry and Nick Markakis who have put up similar stats in this league to Choo for the past three weeks (I also have Hamilton and Holliday with Joyce on my bench) Just curious as to others thoughts on passing on one or both of these deals, thanks.

I'd also pass on the second trade, unless it's a fairly good pick. Choo's apparently a 15/15 guy, and those aren't really that hard to find in the OF.

Why are people doubting Encarnacion? Have you seen him play this year? He's improved as a hitter so much and always will have a lot of power. If you've watched enough Jays games this year, you'd know that every single at bat he's locked in.
He always hits the ball hard when making contact and has cut down on the strikeouts tremendously. If I were you, I would trade Fister and Myers for Encarnacion right now.

That is half the issue, being that they are Toronto and I am three time zones removed I have not seen E5 on a regular basis. I need you homers from the Great White North (EST) to give me your objective opinions. Myers has Matt LaPorta written all over him and it is time to sell very, high!

Look at the progression for Encarnacion.
2008- .251, 26 HR, 68 RBI, 61 walks and 102 strikeouts. 2009- .225, 13 HR, 39 RBI, 37 walks and 67 strikeouts (85 games). 2010- .244, 21 HR, 51 RBI, 29 walks and 60 strikeouts (96 games). 2011- .272, 17 HR, 55 RBI, 43 walks and 77 strikeouts. 2012- .299, 27 HR, 70 RBI, 48 walks and 64 strikeouts. He is secure in Toronto and that can mean a lot to a player, but he has worked incredibly hard to improve as a hitter. Encarnacion is legit.

Well I suck. I waited too long and E5 went for Votto. Actually the deal was E5 and Wainwright for Lincey and Votto.... Cripes!!!
Motto: Quit over thinking the trade stupid! Chris Carter better be the answer to my prayers to Jobu!
