I am thinking of offering my Verlander for his Trout. The guy has not even considered a sniff for Trout but is stocked in speed, runs, avg. Needs power numbers or stud pitcher.
Offered Bum and he rejected.
Am I offering too much or too little? I have Feliz coming off soon, as well as McCarthy for home starts. Also eyeing Garcia, Cashner and Anderson who should be back mid Aug.

Mike trout is special player I myself would make that offer you may still get rejected because of how young and how good this kid is. But you still have a solid staff past verlander and that outfield of yours would be rediculous with mcutch, Braun and trout. I would try but don't get your hopes up.

Look, Trout is amazing, but I would never trade a top of the line pitcher like Verlander for him.

My big concern is that by giving up Verlander, you'd hurt your pitching more than you realize. Moreover, I think Trout is due to see his batting average tail off a bit soon and his run scoring should fall off too.

I am working on a potential Dempster/Garza trade for Berkman. If I get either maybe I can move a Latos or Bum for a very good bat instead of Verlander.
I know Berk will get going (shoulda re-habbed) but not playing vs Lefties and that age/injury thing scares me, plus I got Stanton coming back in the not too far distance.

Fair deal. Trout's the real deal, but I agree with Dong. This trade hurts your starting pitching moret than you realize.

Also - based on your standings... your area to "increase" in points is pitching. So you stand more to lose by dealing Verlander than what you have to gain in hitter cats.
