I'm sure you have all been in a public league that craps out for various reasons. Usually one of the following occurs:

1. The Commissioner abandons the league
2. Two people make collusive trades between themselves
3. Half the league goes inactive
4. You are in a neck-and-neck battle for the last playoff position, and your rival gets an easy win vs an opponent who's abandoned his team
5. The league settings suck

I know what that's like, and I feel your pain! That's why I have started up my own network of dynasty leagues. Right now I have two hockey leagues and 7 baseball leagues in my fantasy network, and I am expanding into football this season. My goal is to start up 10 identical football dynasty leagues that all operate under the same rules. All my leagues have a detailed rulebook that outlines all the rules, so everyone knows the rules ahead of time.

We have our own league forums and website that allow you to negotiate trades during the offseason. The league forums are also where we hold votes and petitions to change or alter some of our league rules.

Right now I have about 180 teams involved in my dynasty network, and with the expansion to football I am aiming to have almost 400 active, competitive people in my leagues. We have a strict policy on staying active in our leagues, and people who go inactive get replaced to ensure a strong competition level in every league I operate.

Because of the complexity of my network, I am not directly involved with a team in any of my leagues. Instead, I have a co-commissioner who ensures the day-to-day operations of the league, and if there is an argument in the league, the co-commissioner brings the issue to me for a fair, unbiased ruling. This ensures that every league I operate is very fair, very competitive, and very fun for everyone!
