Unreal scouting to pick up both Tyler Austin and Mason Williams in the past few years.

Austin- Selected in the thirteenth round of the 2010 MLB amateur draft.

Austin is batting .327 with 13 home runs, 44 RBI and 13 stolen bases for the Charleston RiverDogs.

Williams- Selected in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB amateur draft.

So far this season, he has 26 hits, five doubles, two triples, one home run and six RBI with a batting average of .329 and a slugging percentage of .481. He has only struck out four times in 86 plate appearances.

The scouts are raving about these guys and they are shooting up prospect rankings.

Baseball America has ranked Williams as the 28th best prospect in baseball and Austin checks in at 39.

Exactly!! I was thinking this very thought when I watching Sports Center this morning.. TSN was showing a bunch of our Canadian Olympic atheletes arriving in London, England. And they interview Alexander Despatie, and he has a damn Yankees hat on?? Are you not there representing CANADA?? Ohhh whoops, maybe you are there representing the New York Yankees.. Hit your head on the board one more time Alex.. Anywhere else but the Olympics dude.. Come on!!
