Hey guys. So I'm in talks with a very stubborn gm. He wants quick. Which is ok. I still have Rinne kipper Bryz and lehner. However his offer I feel is less than attractive. What is quicks value?
I get- Parise and my choice of lupul Fillpula or parenteau

No way i would do it. He had a huge year, and will do it again this coming season. I'd try and move your other goalies, except for Rinne.

I'm going to put it this way, would you trade Ovie/Malkin/Crosby/Stamkos for Parise and one of those guys?

Quick is in the league of elite goalies (lundqvist, rinne), and their rarity should demand the same type of return as the "big 3/4."

In my points only league, Quick had 115pts and Rinne 114pts. Don't think your can go wrong with either, but I like the direction the KINGS are going moreso than the Preds. Would he consider taking on Rinne??

I think Quick for Parise & Lupul is fair for a points only keeper. Those two combined for 130+pts last year, but that number should grow this year (assuming Lupul stays healthy for the 82 games). They could combine for 150+ points easily.

If he is really horny for Quick, I think you could get a little more for him. Exchange Lupul for someone else perhaps.

But i'd rather see you keep Quick and dangle Rinne in front of him and see if he bites. Good luck

Quick looks like he has insane value in those settings. 3 for a W and 3 for a SO? Are you joking? Quick was like a 140 point goalie last year.

That offer is insulting.

This is my line of reasoning as well. At this time, Quick's value is skyhigh. The offer presented to you is perhaps a lateral one when it is all said and done. However, at the moment Quick's trade value is that of a top producing forward. If I wasn't getting one of the players listed above, I wouldn't consider dealing Quick. Unless of course, the deal is lopsided in the fact that you would receive 3 or 4 elite forwards and could knock out some of your weaker skaters. Otherwise, no deal in my opinion.

He's horny for quick. In our format Rinne and quick had roughly 150 or so points. I don't want to mOve either but feel I need forward help.
