Anyone know why this kid wasn't selected (or I'm just blind). I understand the huge KHL factor, but why not take this kid in the 7th?

probably just a very large Russian factor and other issues. I don't think he was at the combine.

I liked the kid heading into the draft and was hoping he would go late and un-noticed somehow by my fellow GM's.... but i never imagined he wouldn't get drafted at all. He was the first pick in the KHL and maybe let scouts know that he plans on staying there for the time being. Also disappointed in his play most of the time.
