Do we see Maroon make the ducks out of camp next year?

He has had 2 really good seasons in a row now and has progressed well...

I figure he'd take a similar role to DPS so maybe they only go with him but he had a pretty ordinary season this year and the ducks may have actually brought him in too soon, i think he could use more seasoning personally...

What do you guys think? Maroon in the main squad out of camp? or at least gets a/a few cup/s of coffee next season?

He has a shot, but he'll have to outplay some guys (Palmieri for one). I don't see it. I think him as more of a midseason call up

Who Wins?

Most intrguing player in that deal to me is Jordie Benn

Gustafsson will be a money dman down the road and Telegin is really interesting with his size and sheer speed. Butler is either way right now, but looks better than Maroon. I really don't know a lot about MCT or Benn. I'd rather have the Telegin side.

Without going into league details, I figure Butler likely gone in Ottawa with all the youngsters coming through. I could afford to lose Gustaffson with my dmen, Elliott, Suter, Wiz, B Smith, Edler, Beauchemin, Kuba... All far better than Gusty in our format... Telegin is a late bloomer and hasn't really proven anything IMO.

I went after a power forward Raji got greedy. Assuming Maroon plays in the big league he'll be solid in our format. I know I could have gotten more for Gustaffson but he was superfluous to my needs and I need forwards more.

How good do we think Gustafsson is gonna be? Is he gonna be a top 4 guy in the next couple years and 2nd PP duty as early as next year?

Depends on what other dmen Philly has in the same time frame, but I'd say he has the skill to do that.
