Default td only

I would love for there to be section in the forums dedicated strictly for td only.....its tuff talking fantasy football when you don't know if its ppr or td only. Hopefully somebody can get that up and running. Its the purest form of fantasy and deserves its own section... games aren't won by yards, they are won by scoring touchdowns baby!

Sounds like a good idea, a little more segregation would go a long way into understanding the types of leagues people are posting about.

Hockey pools and baseball pools vary greatly in scoring/categories too.
The NOOBs are encouraged to update their SIG to show league scoring.

Too much thread separation causes thinness in interaction & discussion.

It would be like having two HomeDepots, one for appearance & one for function... you could do it, but everybody becomes a lot smarter if they learn a little about both.
I think, right now, DobberFootball needs to throw everybody in one gymnasium to talk, to promote interaction.
My 2 cents.

I agree with Pengwin. Updating your sig will allow everyone to see what your league cats are so there is no need for it to be a separate forum. If you did one for just TDs (which is pretty rare to begin with) then you would have to do one for all other types of variations as well.

Stick with One Year and Keeper etc.

I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic. I hope it's the latter.

I'm open to everything, honestly - this community will form itself to a degree. For now, I'm focusing on getting the writers firing their articles and completing the calculations for our rankings. In a couple of weeks I'll re-visit the layout of these forums. I'm personally not familiar with too many pure TD-only leagues, though I can appreciate the utter simplicity of it and the appeal.

Would take out a lot of junk we bother with to figure out player values!

I agree, you can't make a section for every little thing. It would be very irritating and would take forever to read about everything. I think it would discourage people from using the forums. I don't see many people looking in the TDs only forum because its a format that a lot of people don't use. I think you would find a lot of your questions unanswered and it would be more benefitial for you to post in the sections that everyone else posts in.
