In the last round of my playoff pool i need to pick 5 players that i haven't already picked.

I need to fill out my last 2 spots, I have already exhausted NJD so i plan to stick with all Kings, who should my last 2 players be?

Thanks for the quick responses.

The other side to this is if my 3 players will cover the points i need to make up, I am 9 pts back and i have to assume based on who the other guys have picked that Doughty, Williams and Carter will be on their teams so they won't help me gain, just keep me in range.

Do i need to go off the board to help make up the 9 pts, or stick with the regular picks to keep within the points so they can't pull away from the 9 pts i need to make up?

Agreed. Being 9 points back, you have to gamble.

Although I don't see anybody closing a 9 point gap. Still, take the shot.

With that said Kopitar, Brown and Richards are a given, my strategy for the pool this year was after round 1 to load up on east players due to the strong goalies in the west, which is why i am out of NJD players and have all of LA to pick from.

So with all that information who to i take?

I still think it comes down to picking the next most likely LA players to avoid the chance of the gap getting bigger and hoping my 3 LA guys can out score the random 3 the leader has to take in place.

The other option is to try and pick 2 obscure players for my other 2 and hope they outscore the likely LA guys that the leader will most likely pick.

Should also add, the leader is at 109, i am at 100, but there are also teams at 102, 101 and another team at 100, but again all of those teams have taken Kopitar, Richards and Brown and i still have them available to pick.

The players that i have taken that they all have available are
Henrique, Clarkson and Elias so i would assume they will be possible picks for those 4 teams

Aaah. I misunderstood your points on taking the 3 Kings -- I thought you were taking them to keep pace (as in, the others would definitely take them). I'd then take Williams and Carter -- own the market on Kings in the finals.

Your three stud Kings should garner you the 9 points you need, so taking Williams and Carter will only protect you if they grab them.

I'd say you've got a legit shot having a monopoly on those three guys.
