Now that he is going into his 3rd full season in the nhl, I was wondering what to expect from him in the years to come? Will He be a solid 40 point dman like he has shown us over the past 2 years. Or will He continue to improve year after year and become one of the leagues top point leaders for a dman?

I'd say his upside is a 50-60 point dman, with about 200 hits and 100 PIM.

His upside I would guess is about 40-50 points a season but its his hits (not counted in my league) along with shots and pim that are important he is a fantasy stud for years to come

Tons of ice time + he's going to be a stud in G/A/PIM/PPP/SOG/HITS/BKS. Pretty solid player if you ask me.

He'll also be among the league leaders in slewfoots, if your league counts those. :-)
I think he'll be a 45-50 point guy who will flirt with 60 once every few years. But I don't think he'll be a consistent top point d-man every season.

PK Subban has one glaring weakness, maturity. One never knows how this evolves. Some people grow up in 10 years. Some people in 20. Most people with in 30. Some never grow up. Celebrity status isn't necessarily a good environment to polish maturity. Should he bond with the right personality, an evolution may advance more rapidly. Unfortunately, Montreal isn't loaded with these. He would benefit by having a strong wife.
So, on the assumption that he matures and has a long, strong career. We'll slowly see his colourful exploit diminish. His points would stabilize. His consistency increase. His PM drop into the 50-80 range. His hits drop to the 100 range. Simply put, he'll not pop his top and pick his moments far more consistently. He'll not strive to be everything to everyone all the time. This player will exceed 50 points regularly. Big, strong, fast, skilled and calculated. He'd also make $5.0 to $7.0M a year. The flip side is more bad decisions, possibly visits to the press box, unnecessary fights with everyone, colourful blow outs, multiple teams, the potential of significant off ice stress, millions of $$$ in lost wages and us bozo's in Fantasy talking about what might have been. I believe it's the man inside that will determine whether he's a Hall-of-Famer, or a journeyman. With his incredible skill set, he'll get many chances. It's more common that a player continue on his current path, than make the adjustments... Oh, and I do have him on one of my two Fantasy teams! I'll likely trade him though.

i disagree, you don't have to be 'mature' to be a success in the NHL, just ask Patrick Kane about that. To have a long, productive and respected career you eventually have to grow up and deicde what kind of player you want to be but I don't think maturity is the cornerstone of success that you are making it out to be.
Expect 50-60 pts a season and he'll have a couple big ones where he leaps into the 60s. The bonus with owning Subban is his multi-cat potential, if your league counts tertiary stats he's gold

A lot of people think of Subban with the idea that most NHL players (and other adults for that matter) are mature people. Just walk in your local mall and tell me what you see. There are tons of bad apples in the NHL and other workplaces. Doesn't mean they can't produce.

There are a few videos floating around of Subban working out and training. I'd say the guy is more dedicated than the majority of players in the NHL. To me that shows he is driven to succeed and that is the most important quality I'm looking for. The skills are there and more points will come in time.
