So was this guy just last years fantasy flavor of the month before the season or does he still have a real upside?? Points predictions for the next one, two years??

he's in a tough situation behind Yandle and OeL. obviously, his fantasy value took a hit from the phoenix trade.
as for point predictions, your guess is as good as any. it all depends on his situation. many do agree that the talent is there to be a 50 point guy, but i doubt that's happening unless he can crack the top pairing/pp unit in phoenix. a tall order indeed

Just like most d-men, especially young guys who come from across the pond...........Rundblad just needs some seasoning over here.. I still believe he will be special. Don't sell to low on this guy, you just might learn to regret it....

While I would agree with Zorro in that Rundblad will be special, and with hiM being a 50pt guy one day, he can't be special or a 50pt guy in Phoenix. There is no way he will get the prime ice time to put up those type numbers, with OEL, and Yandle ahead of him.
Frankly, I still don't understand why Phoenix would want Rundblad given the plethora of great young D men in the organization. Gormley is another one, but he is a 2ndd pairing guy, which will work out great for both he and the Yotes. I really see Rundblad being moved, but they won't get enough for him, seeing as they bought high. Even though they had to move the disgruntled Turris, they paid a huge price to Ottawa for all the hype surrounding Rundblad from his off the charts season in the SEL. Ottawa sold high, and dealt from their strengths. With Karlsson being the stud D, and having Gonchar, and Cowan there made it easier to move him, and they managed to acquire the 2nd line center they have really never had...with all due respect to Mike Fisher, who is one of the absolute finest 3rd line centers in the league. For Rundblad to live up to the hype, he needs to be moved and soon... Puck

Rundblad will likely end up on the top PP pairing with OEL soon. Two Swedes - one lefty and one righty. If Rundblad never hits 50 points in a season, I'll be very disappointed in him. I think he certainly will but it will most likely take a few more years though.

Don't forget about Brandon Gormley 3G-3A in his last 2 GP for the Shawanigan Cataractes in the Memorial CUP 1st round in 2010 13th overall. One of the RDS reporter of junior hockey said : he is the best player and the most ready NHL player in the Memorial CUP ahead of Coyle, Huberdeau ETC...
