Folks, as you can tell by my roster, I've been extremely power-starved to this point, and it's really hurting my team - not sure if it's a permanent problem. Most of my power hitters have either been hurt (e.g. Morse) or not so powerful (e.g. Stanton). Should I even consider putting an offer in for Votto? I'm thinking it would have to be something like Lind and Stanton, or Lind and Morse (once we're closer to Morse's return), but I'm having a tough time gaguing Votto's value. Any thoughts are appreciated, given our league's unique settings (you'll notice I also have weak hitting keepers).

I would actually be TARGETTING Votto, not trading him - I think his owner is a willing participant. I'm trying to decide it it's worth it given my current power-outage, and if so, which players on my roster would be worth parting with. I would definitely have to give up a 1B, and I'd like to hold onto Hosmer. So is it worth it for me to give up Lind plus potentially Stanton or Morse for Votto? Or since my team is good for speed should I consider including McCutchen the other way?

if he would consider lind + morse, jump at the deal. you are winning that trade by quite a bit.

The Morse/Lind offer is now out there, but I'm wondering if he will want a more keeper-worthy bat in return. Given the concerns over Stanton, would I be giving up way too much to go Stanton/Lind for Votto? My OF is pretty deep, but not sure I can sustain the loss of HR power unless Stanton will be hampered all season.

i don't think your outfield so deep that you could move stanton and not be greatly hurt by the loss of power.

Ditto but I always think buying low on Votto, if possible, is a good idea. His BA is rarely below great and he puts up power numbers in bunches.

Votto is a stud and I had him in my old keeper and he's well worth it.
