The announcement on DobberHockey:

has huge implications for DobberBaseball as well.

Because we are moving to one login for all sites, we are using the bigger user database (hockey) as our main database. That means that the baseball users will be moved to that database. Baseball users fall into three categories:

1. Already have a DobberHockey account, and the username matches DobberBaseball
2. Already have a DobberHockey account and the username does not match DobberBaseball
3. Do not have a DobberHockey account.

For 1., there is no issue. Just login as you would for DobberHockey (because perhaps your password is different for each site - so use the DobberHockey one) and go about your business.

For 2., you will lose your Dobberbaseball username. If you would rather use that one, than the one you have on DobberHockey I'll take that on a case by case basis.

For 3., I am having some people manually add your DobberBaseball username to the DobberHockey database. Since I do not know your password, we will have to put your "username" in as your password. So login and password will be the same. You can then go into your account and change your password. I apologize for this.

Also, reminder - the site will be shut down from midnight ET until 1am tonight.

My usernames don't match so I would like to use my DobberBaseball username Clutch for both sites. If we change names on one or the other sites do we lose our points/karma?

Soooo I guess I'm not keeping my DB username (Hyde)? I mentioned it above. Seems I can't login as it and I only have this one/this sign. Old DB posts also show "iceshots" as their creator.

If I have to re-do the signature or something, that's fine. If my baseball account is in forum limbo or something just let me know.
