Was thinking about offering this trade:
I give Espinosa, Hudson and a pick I get Jared Weaver is that too much for Weaver or do you think he will accept? He needs a 2B. Thanks

I believe that's too much to give up for Weaver. Hudson is arguably a top-25 starter and Espinosa is a decent (albeit flawed) power-speed middle infielder. I like Weaver because of his dependability, but there's no need for you to overpay for him. I'd suggest looking to acquire a shortstop, as I'm not very high on Stephen Drew. His days of being a "shortstop on the rise" are long past, and he's only had one season in which he has hit better than .275 with double-digit steals and home runs (all in the same year). Jurickson Profar is still a couple of years away from breaking into the big leagues and even farther away from reaching his potential as a high-end fantasy shortstop.

jared is a great pitcher entering his prime. however, i think you should keep the daniels. I've heard more than once espinosa will get moved to short, and desmond moved out, because desmond lacks range for the position, and his bat isn't as good as espinosa's.
at short, espinosa's batting average doesn't hurt as much as it does at second. i think they will try lombardozzi at second until rendon is ready to take over. i think hudson's k-rate was deflated last season by some bad luck and is due for some favourable regression. i think he'll be the d-backs best pitcher by season's end.

Pretty solid offer and I like the idea. This definitely isn't too much for Weaver, quality>quantity. Espinosa isn't a great 2B option either IMO.
