Sorry I just feel the need to vent about one Justin Upton.
Ugh...he's a pain in the arse. Seems to always be Ofer. 7-1 now finally for arizona...and you betcha! he's Ofer.

Hate to say these words as a fellow Upton owner but sophomore slump (avg wise at least). His runs, Hr, and Sb are right on pace though. Patience.
This guy still has a ridiculous upside. |

I kind of hear you. I drafted Upton not expecting more than a 30/100 campaign. Keeper leagues have to be patient with him, but the strikeout rate is concerning.

I don't know how old the article is but I remember reading a S.I. article on Reynolds earlier this year. In it they talked to Upton who apparently shared a similar view as Reynolds and that was swing for the fences everytime even if it means striking out. So the K rate is probably here to stay unless he changes his views. So long as his AVG doesn't dip to Reynolds or god forbid Pena's average things should be alright.
![]() Darn can't find the article on S.I. Vaults doesn't look like they have any 2010 articles in there. |
