From a pure value standpoint, you put yourself in contention by substituting Granderson in your CF spot for Stubbs. Peavy for Kershaw is also very good value. You may lose this trade long term, but this puts you ahead for the next 3 years...at least.

for a 16 team league i've got to think you're pretty much the team to beat the way you are right now, so i wouldn't make this move unless i determined that i had to make a move like this to get over the top. i guess i'm saying that i think you should wait on this, you don't need to get older right now, if the kids will pretty much get you to the same spot this year and you'd still have them in your pocket for future years.
